Michael K. Mohrman

Mike is a shareholder at the law firm Richards Brandt Miller Nelson where he focuses his practice on family law, criminal law, personal injury, and commercial and civil litigation. Previously he was a founding shareholder at the law firm of Mohrman & Schofield PC. He was a member of the Tennessee Law Review in 1981-1982, Managing Editor in 1982-1983, and a Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Tennessee Judicial Newsletter in 1982-1983. Prior to forming Mohrman & Schofield PC, Mike was a partner and practiced law at Richards Brandt Miller Nelson for 23 years, where he obtained extensive jury and non-jury trial experience. He has tried cases and argued before state and federal tribunals in Utah, California, Wyoming, Nevada, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, New York, Louisiana, and Florida. Mike is a popular lecturer to various professional groups on family law and litigation issues. He is a member of the Salt Lake County Bar Association, the Utah Bar Association (Family Law and Litigation sections), the American Bar Association (Family Law and Litigation sections), the Collaborative Lawyers of Utah, and the American Association of Justice (Family Law section). He was recently honored by the Utah State Bar as 2012 Family Law Lawyer of the Year. Fellow: Utah Association for Justice.
