Michael L. Linton is rated AV “Preeminent”® by his peers in Martindale Hubbell. He has 9 years of experience in litigation, handling health care liability, elder abuse, professional board review matters, and complex tort cases. He was a Deputy County Attorney with the Pima County Attorney’s Office, where he served in the Civil Division and the Criminal Division, prosecuting homicide, fraud, and other felony matters. He received the County Attorney’s Top Gun Trial Attorney of the Year award in 2009 and has also received the Tucson Police Department’s Chief of Police Citation of Excellence. Michael is licensed in Arizona and is admitted to the Arizona Supreme Court and the United States District Court. He graduated cum laude from Georgetown University in 2003, with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Government, and received his J.D. from the University of Arizona in 2006. He is presently on the Board of the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel and a member of the Tucson Defense Bar and the Defense Research Institute. He has presented at seminars on the topics of trial practice, medical malpractice, and elder abuse.
