Mike obtained his undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of California, Riverside, and subsequently was recruited out of college by Washburn University School of Law, resulting in receipt of his law degree in 1993. Prior to working at Stange Law Firm, Mike spent the majority of his career as a prosecutor for the State of Kansas, after leaving the private practice, and has worked behind the scenes in the life as a litigator, as a research attorney, e-discovery analyst, and document reviewer, most notably in the areas of securities and investment fraud, and as part of the investigation team into the alleged "robo-signing" practices against major U.S. banks that suspended both judicial and non-judicial foreclosures wrongfully undertaken against homeowners in the fall of 2010.
In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and dogs and attending live baseball and football games, where he has amassed a collection of over 100 autographs, souvenirs and other memorabilia.
