Michael Heringer has been practicing law with the Brown Law Firm, P.C., since 1985. Mike concentrates his practice in civil trial work in the defense of personal injury, products liability, employment, workers’ compensation and oil and gas law. Mike has tried jury and non-jury cases and handled appeals in Montana State and Federal Courts. Mike is peer-review rated at the highest level of legal ability and ethics (AV Preeminent) by Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized in “Best Lawyers in America,” “Mountain States Super Lawyers,” and “Chambers USA.” He is a member of the Montana Defense Trial Lawyers Association - Board of Directors 2001-2004. Mike has authored and argued amicus matters on behalf of the MDTL in front of the Montana Supreme Court. He was named Pro Bono Attorney of the Year by the Montana State Bar in 1995, and selected as a Billings Catholic School Board Member 2004 to 2011, Chair 2010. Mike received the Yellowstone Area Bar Association 2015 Professionalism Award in recognition for his contributions to the integrity of the Bar and contributions to the Billings community. Mike graduated from Gonzaga University with honors in 1981. He graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in 1985. While in law school, Mike was on the Board of Editors of the Montana Law Review.
