Mr. Clint R. Hansen

Clint Hansen, a shareholder with Fabian VanCott, focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, insurance, employment law, and tort claims. He regularly litigates and advises clients on matters such as ERISA benefits disputes; life, health, and disability claims litigation; employee noncompete agreements; enforcement of trade secret protections; enforcement of contracts; and collections. He also has experience representing clients in a variety of industries, from public utilities and large publicly traded companies to small single-owner LLCs. He has experience in handling cases involving insurance claims, estate/probate disputes, co-owner disputes, fraud and embezzlement, real property disputes, injury claims, premises liability, malpractice, and many other areas. He has worked extensively with expert engineers on cases involving complex industrial machinery and with expert accountants on cases involving complicated allegations of fraud and lost profits. Clint has tried cases in state court and in front of AAA arbitrators.

Clint received his law degree from the University of Texas, where he was editor-in-chief of the Texas Environmental Law Journal and graduated with honors. He earned his bachelor’s degree in English from Brigham Young University, where he graduated cum laude. Clint is admitted to practice in Utah’s state and federal courts. He is a youth mentor in the Boy Scouts of America. Clint has been recognized by Utah Business Magazine as one of Utah’s “Legal Elite.”
