ABOUT Mr. D. James (Jimmy) Jordan

At Adams, Jordan & Herrington, P.C., Jimmy Jordan represents individuals who have suffered serious injuries and families of those that have died as a result of automobile collisions, truck accidents, medical malpractice, and product liability. He is committed to being the strong advocate clients need to receive the justice and compensation they need. In addition, Jimmy serves as City Attorney for the City of Milledgeville and is Trust Counsel for Century Bank and Trust, Milledgeville, Georgia. He practices out of both the Macon and Milledgeville offices.

Jimmy was born in Mobile, Alabama and grew up in Warner Robins, Georgia. Since 1984, he has lived and raised his family in his adopted hometown of Milledgeville, Georgia. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in 1977 and earned his Juris Doctorate degree with honors from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in 1981. While attending Mercer University, Jimmy was a member of the Law Review and served as editor of the Law Review’s Georgia Survey issue. His honors at Mercer include being inducted into the Brainerd Currie Honor Society, the Law School’s premiere Honor Society. Jimmy was admitted to practice in the State of Georgia in 1981.

In 2011, Jimmy was recognized as one of Georgia’s Top 100 trial lawyers by The National Trial Lawyers. He is a member of the bars of the United State District Courts including Georgia’s Middle and Northern Districts as well as the Court of Appeals (Eleventh Circuit) and the Supreme Court of the United States.
