Mr. Novigrod has been practicing law in Miami-Dade and the surrounding counties for several years. In that time, he built a reputation upon honesty and integrity, as well as for his dogged determination in the advocacy of his clients. Mr. Novigrod effectively defends major corporations and insured individuals in various types of civil cases including premises liability, products liability, automobile negligence, negligent security, libel/slander/defamation, property damage, subrogation and insurance coverage issues, creditor/debtor disputes and landlord/tenant disputes.
He is admitted to the Florida Bar, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and is a member of the Cuban American Bar Association.
Mr. Novigrod was born in Southern Texas and raised in Los Angeles, California, where he obtained a degree in Anthropology.
Mr. Novigrod relocated to attend the University of Miami School of Law where he distinguished himself by winning his 1L (first year) Moot Court Competition, and discovered a latent aptitude for oral advocacy. Throughout his law school career, Mr. Novigrod served as a law clerk for a personal injury law firm, gaining an appreciation for how Plaintiffs' prosecute various civil lawsuits. In his final summer of law school, he added to his workload a certified legal internship at the Law Offices of Bennett H. Brummer, Public Defender for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit.
Upon graduation he accepted one of several, highly coveted, assistant Public Defender positions in Miami-Dade County, where he obtained an ease and dexterity in the courtroom where he spent countless hours executing daily calendars, motions, hearings, over 20 trials, and innumerable plea negotiations. Mr. Novigrod joined Hightower, Stratton, Wilhelm in 2007 marking his return to civil litigation with both the knowledge he obtained prosecuting Plaintiff's civil litigation cases, and with the trial skills he has developed as a Public Defender. Mr. Novigrod rose through the ranks to become a partner and an invaluable asset to his law firm's trial practice.
Away from the office, Mr. Novigrod enjoys fitness activities, traveling, playing music, and beach activities.
