Mr. H. Guy Smith, Jr.

H. Guy Smith has practiced as an attorney for approximately forty-one years and through this practice has handled thousands of workers' compensation claims at both the trial and appellate level. Attorney Smith has been licensed to practice law in the State of Florida since November 1966 and was Board Certified by the Florida Bar in the field of workers' compensation in 1989. For the first 18 months of his practice, attorney Smith represented Employers/Carriers, but since that time he has represented only injured persons in workers' compensation cases. Since June 1968, he has devoted approximately eighty-five percent of his practice to representing injured workers. Attorney Smith has received an AV rating in the well known and respected Martindale-Hubbell legal directory. Attorney Smith has served for many years on the Florida Worker's Advocates Board of Directors. He served as President of the Florida Workers' Advocates in 2003-2004.
