Lance Metcalf is licensed as an Attorney as well as a Certified Public accountant. Lance has been serving as a representative and advisor to business clients for almost 30 years. Prior to entering his private legal practice, Lance spent 10 years as a CPA representing individual and business clients with business and taxation planning services. For the last approximately 20 years, Lance has been practicing as a business transactional and commercial real estate attorney. Lance’s legal practice has included representation of business clients with mergers & acquisitions transactions, entity formation and restructuring, contract negotiation and preparation, commercial leasing, real estate acquisition and development, and general business advice.
Lance’s clients range from start-up entrepreneurs through large corporations in a wide variety of industries, including dental practices, physician practices, professional service providers, manufacturers, retailers, real estate developers, franchisees, and many others. Lance assists dentists, physicians and healthcare providers with advice and services necessary to begin, expand, acquire or sell their dental, medical or other healthcare practices.
In addition, Lance has served as lead and/or assistant counsel for purchasers and sellers in over 50 mergers and acquisitions transactions with transaction values ranging from $100,000 up to $200 million. Services related to these mergers and acquisitions transactions include business advice, deal structure, negotiation, documentation, and due diligence.
Lance prides himself on delivering sound practical business advice along with thorough legal representation. Lance takes the title of “Counselor” in the phrase “Attorneys & Counselors” seriously by recognizing that each business and real estate transaction is ultimately a business transaction, which means his clients need practical business solutions to their legal matters.
