Nicholas G. Callas has practiced law since 1990. Nicholas G. Callas has an extensive background in workers’ compensation, social security disability and personal injury litigation.
Mr. Callas graduated, cum laude, in 1982 from Boston College and earned his Juris Doctorate in 1990 from the University of South Carolina.
After serving as law clerk to the Honorable Luke N. Brown, Fourteenth Judicial Circuit, Ridgeland, South Carolina in 1990 and as law clerk to the Honorable William H. Ballenger, Tenth Judicial Circuit, Walhalla, South Carolina, from 1991 to 1992, Mr. Callas worked as an Assistant State Prosecuting Attorney, Fifth Circuit Solicitor, Richland County.
Mr. Callas is a member of the Richland County Bar Association, South Carolina Bar, South Carolina Association for Justice (Board of Governors, 1997-2000), American Association for Justice, and the Injured Workers’ Advocates. Admitted to practice in all South Carolina state courts, Mr. Callas is a frequent speaker at legal seminars. He is a retired Lieutenant Colonel with the U.S. Air Force Reserve.
Nicholas Callas has been given an AV-Rating from Martindale Hubbell, the highest proficiency and ethical ratings given to attorneys & has been listed among the “Legal Elite in the Midlands” for attorneys practicing workers’ compensation on behalf of claimants.
