Ryan Bleau joined Nesci & St. Louis in 2012, after spending 6 years defending those accused of crimes in the Tucson City Public Defender's Office. Mr. Bleau is a member of both Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice and the National College for DUI Defense. While at the Public Defender's Office, Ryan also served as the office point person for Intoxilyzer 8000® litigation. The litigation impacted thousands of Arizona DUI cases. As a result of his work in the Intoxilyzer 8000 litigation, Mr. Bleau was awarded the Rising Star Award by the Arizona Public Defender Association in 2010. Mr. Bleau has been repeatedly recognized for his talent in defending against criminal and DUI charges, having been named a Rising Star by Superlawyers magazine in 2013, in 2014 and in 2015. In addition to his trial practice, Ryan Bleau has been asked to lecture at various Continuing Legal Education seminars throughout the State of Arizona, including the Twelfth Annual APDA Statewide Conference, 2014; City of Tucson Public Defender's Office In-House CLE, 2014; 11th Annual APDA Annual Statewide Conference, 2013; City of Tucson Public Defender's Office In-House CLE, 2012; 10th Annual APDA Annual Conference, 2012; 6th Annual Criminal Law Ethics Seminar, 2012; City of Tucson Public Defender's Office In-House CLE, 2011; and the Tucson Public Defender's Office In-House CLE, 2009.
