Steven is a Partner at the Advocates, Driggs Bills & Day. He has been with the firm since 1999 and has been handling personal injury cases for over 20 years. Steve was recently named as one of the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers.
Steve focuses his law practice on personal injury cases, including wrongful death cases, car accidents, motorcycle, boat, and slip-and-fall accidents, dog bite claims, and bad drug and medical device cases exclusively for plaintiffs. He offers aggressive representation on behalf of his clients. In fact, he has settled thousands of cases in excess of 100 million dollars over the last several years. Steve makes a point to build a relationship with his clients. He wants each client to feel comfortable with him and with his representation.
After completing his bachelor’s degree in Economics at Brigham Young University, Steve attended the Gonzaga Law School, where he was an Editor of the Gonzaga Law Review, and graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 1996.
Steve is very involved in his community. He is passionate about education and helping disadvantaged kids. To further this cause, Steven helped develop and implement a program for the Provo School District in Provo, Utah to help struggling high school and elementary school students and their parents. Through this program, Steven volunteered as a Truancy Court Judge for over 4 years. He is actively involved in his own kids’ school and sports activities. He also has worked many years as a Boy Scout adviser. Steven enjoys spending time outdoors boating, hiking, camping, hunting, and riding four-wheelers.
