Blake grew up in the Upstate Region of South Carolina in the city of Spartanburg. After graduating from Clemson University with a B.A. in Business Management and a minor in Political Science, Blake attended law school at the Charleston School of Law. While a law student, Blake was able to gain valuable experience serving as Vice-President of the Student Trial Lawyers Organization.
Prior to creating Cummings & Lewis, LLC, Blake worked with his father, William V. Cummings, in Spartanburg, SC. By working in a small firm environment with his father, Blake was able to gain a broad range of legal experience in both state and federal courts.
Since creating Cummings & Lewis, LLC, Blake has helped many clients achieve successful results in personal injury cases, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability cases, workers’ compensation cases, and Social Security disability cases.
He enjoys being back in Spartanburg and still maintains strong local ties to the Upstate community. He represents a diverse group of South Carolinians in venues throughout the state and strives to assertively and vigorously represent each one of his clients. Blake is an active member of the South Carolina Association of Justice, formerly known as the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, the Spartanburg County Bar, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR).
