William H. Waring, III graduated from Furman University in 1994 and received his graduate degree, summa cum laude, from The Citadel in 1998. Prior to attending law school, Will taught school and was an assistant principal with Dorchester County School District Two in Summerville, South Carolina. Will received his juris doctorate, cum laude, from Samford University, Cumberland School of Law, in 2006 where he served as Writing Editor for the Cumberland Law Review.
Will served as law clerk for The Honorable Diane S. Goodstein, Circuit Court Judge for the First Judicial Circuit from 2006 to 2007 and then practiced with The Richter Firm, LLC before joining our firm as an associate in 2009. He practices civil litigation with an emphasis on personal injury, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, wrongful death, and on-the-job injury. He received the highest (AV) rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Will and his wife, Molly, grew up in Summerville where they now live with their three children. Will is a past member of the Rotary Club of Summerville.
