Giselle Guerra handles business disputes and internal investigations for her clients, and represents them in general commercial, white collar and energy-related litigation. Her clients are engaged in matters in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Giselle worked for the US Attorney’s Office where she first-chaired various trials, pre-trial hearings and conferences, motions hearings and sentencing hearings.
Giselle has worked on domestic and international matters with federal law enforcement and investigative agencies, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security, and the US Marshals Service.
Giselle has experience representing clients in matters concerning professional malpractice and negligence, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and related anti-bribery laws, the Office of Foreign Assets Control, and various business torts and contracts matters.
