After graduating from law school and earning admission to the Florida Bar in 1984, Kristen Jackson spent several years working with litigation and contract law firms located in Orlando. During this time, she handled a large number of cases involving business law, estate planning, probate, elder law and real estate law. In 1996, she made the move to launch her own law firm, wanting to create more personal relationships with her clients. Since then, she has developed a clientele numbering several thousand people locally, statewide, nationally and internationally. In her own words, Kristen's approach to representation is, "I get to know my clients. We sit down. We talk about family. I try to put them at ease and create an atmosphere of comfort." Kristen is not only an accomplished estate planning attorney, but also holds a master's in tax law, a bachelor's in accounting, and a degree in interior architecture and design. She is also licensed as a Florida certified public accountant and maintains a Series 7 securities license and a Florida life, health and variable annuity insurance license. With such a varied background, she is able to provide her clients with well-thought-out legal solutions to meet all of their estate planning needs. Kristen's accomplishments extend beyond the legal arena: As a Florida state-certified general contractor, her construction and design talents were put to the test when she assembled a 200-man construction team to participate as a woman-owned business in the building and opening of Universal Studio's Islands of Adventure Theme Park and City Walk complex in Orlando. When she is not working, Kristen enjoys exercising, pursuing her childhood passion of riding horses, or taking in water parks, as well as doting over her two Shar Pei over a glass of wine with her husband of 37 years.
