Lisa Martin works with clients to resolve their family law issues pertaining to divorce, post-divorce contempt and modification actions, paternity actions, actions subsequent to paternity acknowledgement, prenuptial and antenuptial agreements, domestic abuse restraining orders, child abuse restraining orders, harassment restraining orders, simple Wills, Durable Powers of Attorney, Powers of Attorney for Healthcare, and the sale and purchase of residential real estate. Her practice concentrates on the areas of family law, estate planning and residential real estate transactions.
As part of her family law practice, Lisa helps families deal with a variety of issues, including mental health issues and treatment, AODA issues, family violence, financial issues, and tax issues. Her goal is to provide client consistent expert legal services along with compassionate client care.
Lisa graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mount Mary University in Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. She received her J.D. from Marquette University Law School in 1999. Prior to joining Walny Legal Group, LLC, Lisa was the sole shareholder of Hayes & Martin, S.C.
Lisa is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the American Bar Association and the Waukesha County Bar Association. She is a founding member of the Divorce Cooperation Institute and has been on the board of directors since its inception in 2003.
