Nic Norton’s practice primarily consists of litigation in the areas of insurance defense, contract disputes, tort claims, agriculture, real estate, and probate matters, as well as criminal and juvenile litigation. Nic has appeared before various county and district courts across central Nebraska, as well as the Nebraska Court of Appeals and Nebraska Supreme Court.
Nic’s practice also encompasses general business matters, including the drafting of various agreements and corporate documents and counsel in a wide variety of situations. He commonly works with small business owners, up-and-coming entrepreneurs, farmers and professionals. Prior to entering the practice of law, Nic gained experience in business, which helps him understand the objectives of clients whose legal concerns demand equal consideration with the realities of their business. His experience is especially valuable in viewing situations from a variety of angles before determining the best way — a claim, pose a defense or negotiate a contractual term.
Having assisted clients with everything from harassment cases to constitutional challenges of city ordinances to multimillion-dollar contract disputes, Nic has a wide array of experience that enables him to quickly relate to clients in varied situations to understand the context and underlying realities of the matters with which they are faced.
