Paige Thomas is a Norfolk, Virginia native. Paige grew up in Norfolk’s Larchmont-Edgewater neighborhood and graduated with Honors from Maury High School. During her youth she excelled at both soccer and softball. As a high school freshman, she earned a spot on Maury’s varsity soccer roster. Anticipating her eventual legal career, in 2001 she served as a page in the Virginia House of Delegates, and in 2009 she interned with the Norfolk Commonwealth Attorney’s Office. After graduating with honors from Radford University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and minor in Economics, Paige worked as a Deputy Clerk in the Norfolk Circuit Court Clerk’s Office. Upon gaining that experience she attended Charlotte School of Law in Charlotte, North Carolina. During her law school years, Paige interned with the Virginia Attorney General’s Office in Richmond, Virginia, as well as other Hampton Roads law firms. Once earning her law school degree, Paige returned to the Hampton Roads area and dedicated herself to public service, providing criminal defense representation for adults and children in both the Norfolk and Hampton Public Defender Offices. Already a savvy courtroom veteran, Paige has tried hundreds of cases, including jury trials for clients charged with multiple felony offenses. As her passion to help people grew, in 2018 Paige made the decision to join Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers. Here she fights to ensure that each of her client’s receives the justice and compensation they deserve after they have experienced a serious injury. In her spare time, Paige enjoys many activities that her hometown of Virginia Beach has to offer including fishing, riding her bike through First Landing State Park, and going to the beach with her dog, Kramer.
