ABOUT Patrick M. Brogan

PATRICK M. BROGAN joined the firm January 1, 1991, upon completion of a tour of duty in the U.S. Navy's Judge Advocate General's Corps, where he was a trial attorney for Court Martial and assisted in investigations into marine casualties for the Commander-in-Chief of the Atlantic Fleet. Patrick graduated from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in 1979 and received a law degree in 1985 from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary. In addition, he earned a U.S.C.G. Second Assistant Engineer's License and has many years of authentic sea experience. On January 1, 1998, Patrick became a vital member of the firm, adding his own name to the firm’s.

Mr. Brogan has represented numerous ships, their owners and underwriters in matters from collision, personal injury, USCG hearings,oil pollution, workers compensation and insurance policy interpretation. He has also represented numerous clients in various general liability cases including products liability, contracts dispute, premises liability and workers compensation.
