Pete A. Fuscaldo represents a diverse group of established, privately-held companies, often serving as general business counsel in both day-to-day matters and strategic transactions. He is the firm’s managing partner and a member of the firm’s Corporate, Taxation and Construction Practice Groups. Pete’s practice centers on providing counsel on a range of business structuring, transaction, succession, and disposition issues. He advises on the form of business entity and structure of business acquisitions, private equity transactions, and dispositions to minimize federal income tax consequences. In addition, Pete counsels businesses on complex restructuring and recapitalization transactions. His in-depth understanding of both business and tax laws allows him to be creative in finding solutions to otherwise difficult deals.
In addition to his business counseling, Pete represents clients in federal tax controversies at the administrative dispute resolution level before the IRS and in litigation before the U.S. Tax Court.
