Randall B. Ashby is a partner of the law firm Waldron & Schneider, LLP. Born a 6th generation Texan in Gatesville, Texas, Mr. Ashby graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a B.B.A. in Marketing with honors in 1976, and received his J.D. degree from the University of Houston Bates College of Law in 1980. He is licensed to practice in the State of Texas and the federal courts of the Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern Districts of Texas, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Upon graduating from law school Mr. Ashby worked as a prosecutor with the City of Houston Attorney’s Office for approximately 5 years.
Mr. Ashby has extensive experience in business law including formation of companies, partnerships, trusts, contract drafting and negotiations, sales and acquisitions; real estate; estate planning and asset protection; bankruptcy issues including representation of Bankruptcy Trustees and creditors in the Southern, Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas; and wills and an extensive probate practice in Harris, Galveston and Brazoria counties representing executors, administrators and beneficiaries. Mr. Ashby’s clients include those active in the business community as small to medium sized business owners, title companies, banks, residential and commercial real estate, financial planning, education, telecommunications, individuals and families.
Mr. Ashby lives in the community with his wife and their 2 sons, and is active in the community including being a member of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, a member and former Board of Directors of the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, the O.N.E. networking organization and a member and on the Board of Trustees for the Armand Bayou Nature Center.
