Richard is skilled in providing general corporate and tax advice to a wide variety of businesses and is widely regarded for his timely business and tax advice on the formation of new business ventures. He lectures extensively on laws relating to structure and design of investment opportunities and is a former adjunct professor of Securities Law at Samford University's Cumberland School of Law.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In time spent away from the office, I most enjoy spending time with my grandchildren and going out to play golf.
What do you think are the three most important things you do to serve your clients?
It is most important to me that I be available at any time, listen to the needs of the client, and be quick in my response to those needs.
What is the best part of your job?
I always appreciate getting the chance to work with all of the different attorneys and people at Sirote.
Why did you become an attorney?
I was inspired to become an attorney by the television show “Perry Mason” from the 50s and 60s that showcased a defense attorney who would represent people who had been falsely accused of crimes.
