Rob was born in Valparaiso, Indiana during his father’s last year of law school. He moved to Fort Wayne with his family shortly afterward. Rob attended Concordia High School and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Medicine at Indiana Univ.-Purdue Univ. Fort Wayne. He then transitioned to a career in law, receiving his Juris Doctorate from Ohio Northern University in 2000. Rob immediately joined the law office founded by his father, Max.
Rob has dedicated a significant portion of his law practice to Landlord-Tenant relations and Estate Planning. He periodically leads seminars on these areas. Rob also became registered as a Civil Mediator in 2017. He enjoys volunteer work and has participated in a variety of leadership roles including the Board of Directors for C.A.N.I. (now known as Brightpoint) and the Apartment Association of Fort Wayne. Rob also enjoys serving in a variety of ways at Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church & School, which have included roles as congregational chairman, school ministry board, and family ministry.
Rob enjoys leading seminars and has spoken on topics such as landlord-tenant relations and estate planning to audiences including fellow attorneys, magistrates, real estate investors, and persons interested in planning their legacies. In his free time, Rob enjoys boating, golf, and particularly spending time with his wife, Deb, and their daughter.
