ABOUT Robert N. Saraco

Attorney Saraco concentrates his practice in the areas of Family Law and Criminal Defense.

Attorney Saraco has experience representing individuals in all areas of family law including litigating actions seeking divorce, legal separation, custody and visitation; handling post-judgment modification and enforcement proceedings; and drafting and negotiation of prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements. In addition to these services, Attorney Saraco has experience mediating family law matters and acting as review counsel to clients involved in mediation. The matters range from simple uncontested proceedings to complex cases, with the goal of reaching an amicable resolution for all parties involved.

In his criminal defense practice, Attorney Saraco represents individuals at all stages of the criminal justice process, including juvenile matters. He has represented individuals charged with traffic violations, assault and battery, breach of peace, DWI/DUI/OWI, embezzlement, credit card fraud, obstruction of justice, possession/sale of drugs, theft and larceny, burglary, robbery, forgery, threatening, risk of injury to a minor, sexual assault, domestic violence, white collar crimes, and Department of Motor Vehicle hearings.

Attorney Saraco has experience in defending juveniles accused of all types of crimes including, but not limited to, drug crimes, weapons offenses, drunk driving, sexual offenses, assault, larceny and burglary.

Fighting for parent's and children's rights with regards to school penalties and the impact of such penalties, is another way Attorney Saraco helps juveniles.

Attorney Saraco's goal in any juvenile matter is pursuing an outcome in the best interest of the child while protecting the child's and family privacy. A criminal record for the juvenile can impact the rest of their lives.

Attorney Saraco earned his B.A. from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre PA. in 1997 and his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2006. While at Quinnipiac, Attorney Saraco was recognized for his distinguished academic achievement in Advanced Family Law.

While attending law school, Attorney Saraco worked full-time as a civil courtroom clerk at the Bridgeport Superior Court where he assisted judges in numerous civil jury cases, tried from jury selection to verdict.

Attorney Saraco resides in Monroe with his wife and four children. He is actively involved in the community as well as coaching youth athletics. Attorney Saraco is also a board member of the Monroe Rod & Gun Club in which he runs the annual children's fishing derby.
