With a decade of varying legal experience, Ronnie Dabbasi advises multinational clients on a wide variety of domestic and cross-border transactions, particularly mergers and acquisitions, private equity matters and venture capital financings valued at more than $1 billion.
Ronnie’s extensive experience includes counseling on international trade law and structuring investments in the energy, healthcare, education and technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) sectors. He is also skilled in negotiating financing structures for energy companies, financial institutions and borrowers, and advising on formation, marketing and management of investment funds.
As a former senior corporate associate at a large law firm in the Middle East, his experience and familiarity with diverse business practices and cultures allows him to effectively guide clients through complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and he has negotiated and executed financings and purchase and sale transactions in the US, the Gulf States, North Africa, South Asia, Europe and offshore jurisdictions.
Ronnie’s previous experience includes serving as in-house counsel for a leading real estate financing company based in Saudi Arabia where he structured mezzanine financing facilities, negotiated joint ventures and arranged new financial product releases. Prior to practicing in the Middle East, he worked as a corporate associate in the New York office of an Am Law 20 firm.
