Ryan Benharris is an attorney concentrating in the areas of workers' compensation law, social security disability law, longshore workers' compensation, defense base act claims, and municipal accidental disability retirements.
Attorney Benharris is a 2001 graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a 2005 graduate of Southern New England School of Law (now known as University of Massachusetts School of Law - Dartmouth) where he served as the President of the Student Bar Association. He currently serves as the Law School's elected Vice-President of its Alumni Association. He is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and is co-chair of the New Lawyers Committee of the Workers' Injury Law and Advocacy Group. He was hired as an attorney at Law Offices of Deborah G. Kohl in 2005 after working at the firm as a paralegal for three years.
In 2008, Attorney Benharris was awarded the Stanley Rudman Award for Advocacy by Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc. A panel of over twenty practicing attorneys and two Massachusetts Superior Court Judges selected Attorney Benharris, out of a group of twenty-five attorneys, to receive this award.
