Sadat Montgomery is a Dallas personal injury attorney who takes pride in not only getting his clients the compensation they deserve, but also in ensuring they receive the medical care they need following a serious injury.
Sadat primarily handles personal injury and wrongful death cases, often resulting from car crashes, truck accidents, motorcycle wrecks, work accidents, defective products, slip & fall accidents, and more.
Sadat Montgomery got his first brush with advocacy back in high school. As a star member of his school's Constitutional Debate team, Sadat helped lead the team to both a State Championship and placement at a National Constitutional Scholars competition. Sadat was also a star point guard on the basketball court, helping his school win their first Class 5A State Championship in more than 30 years.
Sadat went on to play Division 1 basketball at DePaul University in Chicago, and finished his academic and athletic career at Prairie View A&M University outside of Houston, Texas.
After graduation, Mr. Montgomery worked in the pharmaceutical industry with two multinational fortune 100 companies—Pfizer Pharmaceutical Corporation and Novartis Oncology—winning multiple national awards, before deciding to attend law school at Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas.
While at SMU, Sadat Montgomery participated in moot court, mock trial, and gained practical experience as a student attorney in the SMU criminal defense clinic. Mr. Montgomery was also very active on campus, serving as the President of the Black Law Students Association, and was even recognized by Dean John Attanasio for spearheading a visit to the United States Supreme Court in Washington D.C. where students participated in a Q&A session with Supreme Court justices.
Upon receiving his Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law, Sadat Montgomery founded Montgomery Law, PLLC with a focus on providing effective legal representation for personal injury and wrongful death victims in Texas. Sadat Montgomery is licensed to practice in all State Courts in Texas, as well as U.S. District Court (Northern District of Texas; Eastern District of Texas).
Sadat’s experience in the pharmaceutical industry has given him the opportunity to build relationships with some of the top physicians in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, often giving his clients access to the best medical treatment for their injuries. His competitive background in debate has prepared him for the combat that takes place in a courtroom, and the training he's received from some of the top organizations in the country has sharpened his ability to connect with people—making him a highly effective trial attorney in front of a judge and jury.
