ABOUT Samuel K. Rudman

For more than twenty years, Sam has vigorously pursued the interests of his clients in tort, employment, and other civil litigation matters. He has served as a skillful advocate for clients in personal injury and property damage cases, advancing their causes with success in state and federal courts and before a variety of administrative agencies, at all levels. Through his work with clients, Sam has handled a wide variety of insurance-related litigation, including products liability, personal injury and professional malpractice.

“ I tell others that I love what I do because I get to listen to people tell their stories, and then help them with their problems, every day. I learn something new with each client, and never tire of listening to individuals tell me about the things that are important to them. ”

Sam has developed a deep expertise in all matters related to worker’s compensation and insurance related products. He has provided advice and counsel to clients on workplace injury issues under the Maine Worker’s Compensation Laws, the Longshoreman’s and Harborworker’s Compensation Act, the Defense Base Act, and the Federal Employees Compensation Act. He maintains a very active litigation practice.

When employment-related litigation arises, Sam’s employment clients are also well-served by his trial experience. He has effectively represented clients in discrimination matters, in state and federal court and before the Maine Human Rights Commission for state law claims and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for federal claims.

Long involved in local charitable organizations, Sam is past president of the Board of Directors of the Regional Transportation Program and a past president of Maine Theatre. He is currently Chairman of the Long Range Planning Advisory Committee for the Town of Falmouth and was designated Citizen of the Year for 2015 for the Town of Falmouth. He lives in Falmouth, Maine with his wife and two children.
