    ABOUT Sarah K. Carpenter

Sarah represents her clients From The Ground Up - from contract drafting and negotiation to issues of complex litigation. Sarah believes in truly learning and understanding each client’s particular set of facts and issues - the good and the bad - in order to help each and every client obtain the best yet most efficient outcome.

Sarah is experienced in matters of construction litigation. Specifically, Sarah represents contractors in matters involving changes, schedule delays and acceleration, defects, differing site conditions, payment disputes, and contract suspensions and terminations. Sarah has assisted her clients in achieving successful outcomes in mediation and arbitration proceedings as well as before state and federal courts and federal boards of contract appeals.

Sarah’s years of nation-wide litigation experience are pivotal in her ability to provide clients with advice from the onset of their project or venture and to assist her clients in understanding and avoiding pitfalls that often lead to litigation. In addition to representing her clients in the areas of construction law and litigation, Sarah also represents her clients in employment law matters that often arise in the world of construction - such as matters involving non-competition and non-solicitation issues, compliance with state and federal sick and family leave requirements, and general employment policies.
