Scott practices commercial real estate acquisition, development, land use, zoning and finance. He has more than 19 years of experience in zoning laws, approvals and appeals, including numerous appearances before planning commissions and zoning appeal boards. He advises clients in Indiana and across the country on all aspects of commercial real estate development, including due diligence, land assemblages, condominium formation, construction, financing and management of new and existing projects.
Scott has extensive experience in commercial lending transactions, preparing documents for everything from small loans with unique collateral to multimillion-dollar loans for commercial development. He counsels many small-to-medium sized businesses, commercial real estate developers, entrepreneurs, municipalities and financial institutions on issues, including: formation, corporate governance and shareholder agreements; transactional matters and financing; and mergers, joint ventures and acquisitions.
