Sean Lane has worked as an attorney, both in the private and public sectors, for over 15 years. He began his legal career working as a Deputy District Attorney for the District Attorney’s Office in and for the 18th Judicial District in Colorado. Mr. Lane was promoted within 60 days of his hire date to become the supervisor of the Aurora, Colorado, office and was, thereafter, promoted to the position of Senior Supervising Deputy District Attorney, responsible for managing the County Court District Attorney’s Offices located in Aurora, Littleton and Douglas County, Colorado.
Since 2003, Mr. Lane has been in private practice and has focused on Constitutional Law, employment disputes, regulatory law, as well as real estate and governmental takings issues. He has specific experience in federal and state court litigation, governmental and regulatory law, real estate and corporate law.
Mr. Lane has served in a managerial role supervising attorneys, executives and staff within various organizations for his entire career. He graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1997 with degrees in Economics with an emphasis in Business Management and Political Science. In 2000, he graduated from the University of Denver School of Law with honors, and was selected as the Judge Joseph N. Lilly Memorial Scholar from 1997 – 2000.Recipient, Judge Joseph N.
