Shirley counsels businesses and business owners in tax, transactional, corporate, and personal tax planning, as well as providing estate planning services for professionals, business owners, retirees, and others seeking to minimize estate and income taxes. She also represents clients in sales, acquisitions, merger transactions, and the establishment of professional and business corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies.
What is the best part of your job?
Meeting with clients, learning about . . . their families and businesses, and maintaining contact with clients even when they don’t need legal help.
What are you most proud of in your practice?
Clients [have] become friends, and, as the years go by, their children and other family members call on us for guidance as well.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Spend time with my wonderful grandchildren.
