For more than 20 years, attorney Stephen J. Dennis has fought to protect the interests of injured workers. He understands the power that employers and insurance companies have in workers' compensation cases and works tirelessly to stand up for workers.
Mr. Dennis is a founding member of the Workers Injury Law and Advocacy Group, and a member of the American Association for Justice and the Rhode Island Labor History Society. He is also a legal adviser for Injured Workers of Rhode Island.
Since 1990, I have been advocating for the rights of injured workers in Providence and throughout Rhode Island. In addition to pursuing workers' compensation claims, I have:
Worked for legislation that placed vocational rehab claims into the judicial process, strengthening injured workers' ability to obtain rightful treatment
Pushed for the right to reinstatement bill and free access to medical records
Argued and won cases before the Rhode Island Supreme Court and Rhode Island Workers' Compensation Appellate Division.
