Steven J. Meade specializes in the Education and Family Law. Steve also works in the areas of probate, employment law and worker compensation. While serving in the United States Navy, Steve served aboard three nuclear powered submarines. Steve was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1992. Steve obtained his undergraduate degree from Boise State University in 1995 with a B.S. in Criminal Justice Administration. In 2000, Steve obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Idaho. Steve began working in law related fields immediately after graduating from Boise State University. Steve worked as a paralegal in the area of Family Law for Attorney Stanley W. Welsh. During law school Steve continued his employment with Mr. Welsh until he graduated in 2000. At that point, Steve began working as an attorney handling family law and probate matters for Cosho, Humphrey, Greener & Welsh, P. A. In 2002, Steve joined the firm of Cantrill, Skinner, Sullivan & King, P.A. continuing his family law practice and began working in the area of Education Law under Attorney John King. Also in 2002, Steve accepted a position as In-House General Counsel and Lobbyist for the Idaho School Boards Association, Inc. Steve continued in that position until he joined the firm of Trout Jones Gledhill Furhman Gourley, P.A. in July 2010. Admitted to practice before all court in the State of Idaho and the U.S. District Courts of Idaho.
