ABOUT Taylor C. Young

Words that lawyers and clients frequently use to describe Taylor include "smart," "talented," "articulate," "engaging," and "effective." But it is Taylor's writing that is most often singled out for particular praise. As one top lawyer in Scottsdale put it, "Having worked with and against some of the finest lawyers in Arizona, I must say that Taylor Young is one of the finest legal writers that I know." Another lawyer who has worked alongside Taylor calls him "an excellent writer and a 'cut-to-the-chase' lawyer with the ability to make the tough calls."

Taylor has spent his career arguing cases in state and federal appellate courts. Because clients and other lawyers have called upon Taylor's talents in a wide variety of legal areas, he has gained substantive legal experience in the following fields: commercial litigation, business and real estate disputes, family law and divorce, personal injury and insurance defense, medical malpractice, bad faith, municipal liability, tax appeals, bankruptcy appeals, labor and employment law, election law, constitutional law, technology and communications law, intellectual property, and political law.

Taylor draws on a diverse background and multi-faceted experience-both in and out of the law-when representing clients and assisting other firms. In addition to being a practicing lawyer, Taylor has been a conceptual artist, run the soundboard at a major sports arena, developed and managed a corporate political advocacy program, and taught technology law at a private college for geeks. He has an acute understanding of how law, public policy, and business intersect and currently serves as a Faculty Associate in the Management Department of the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. As a lawyer, professor, and public speaker, Taylor takes special pride in helping those around him achieve stellar results.
