Thomas P. Cummings has been a Partner with Dougherty, Leventhal & Price, LLP since
1996 has been with the firm since 1991. He focuses his practice on workers’ compensation, Social Security Disability and personal injury cases.
Tom works primarily from DLP’s Moosic, office and is a certified member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives. He has held various Board positions with the Lackawanna County Bar Association (Board Member, Young Lawyers Division, 1991-1993 Secretary, Young Lawyers Division, 1994-1995; Vice-President, Young Lawyers Division, 1995-1996; President Young Lawyers Division, 1997; Member of Executive Board, 1994-1998, 2016; Bar Association Finance Committee, 1996; Civil Rules Committee, 1996-1999; Judiciary Committee, 1996-1998) and has lectured at various Bar functions, including the People’s Law Scholl and the Annual Bench/Bar Conference.
In addition, he has offered seminar presentations for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the National Business Institute and the Northeastern Pennsylvania Association For Justice. He is a member of the Lackawanna County Bar Association, the Northeastern Pennsylvania Association For Justice, American Association of Justice, Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Association For Justice.
Tom received his Undergraduate Degree from the University of Scranton (cum laude) and graduated from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University.
