Tim Stover has been practicing law in the Magic Valley for over twenty years. Bringing his full commitment to every case, Tim’s clients benefit from his wealth of experience and passion for their cause. His breadth of knowledge and innovation have helped him successfully represent a wide variety of clients in state and federal courts as well as before state and local agencies, commissions and boards.
Tim specializes in real estate law, land use, transactional law, and municipal law. He has served as the city attorney for the city of Kimberly, Idaho, since 2012, and also represents the cities of Filer, Eden and most recently, the city of Hansen. Tim has also served as a Special Deputy Attorney General for the State of Idaho since 2008.
Tim was raised in Norfolk, Nebraska, and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he earned a Bachelor of Science. He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Creighton University School of Law. Tim and his wife, Kelly, now reside in Kimberly and are the proud parents of three children. In addition to his law practice, Tim is active in the community, including serving on the Board of Directors for Family Health Services Corporation, Boys and Girls Club of Magic Valley, Saint Edwards Catholic School and organizing and coaching youth athletics.
