Work Experience

Troy Stafford is a civil litigator who focuses his practice on representing individuals or families who have suffered a catastrophic injury or wrongful death as well as business litigation in State and Federal courts. He also represents several NASCAR teams and individual licensees regarding their contracts, sponsorships, and business endeavors.

Throughout his distinguished legal career, he has served as lead attorney in many court actions involving catastrophically injured individuals, wrongful death claims, as well as multi-plaintiff actions including but not limited to medical negligence claims, prescription drug errors, faulty medical device claims, breach of contract claims, bad faith insurance claims, and construction defect claims. Recently, Troy served as lead counsel for a multi-plaintiff medical negligence court action that yielded a $3 million resolution for his clients. He and his co-counsel, E. Troy Blakeney, represented a six-year-old boy who was catastrophically injured as a result of a spinal surgery error and resolved the case for $6.5 million. Additionally, he and his firm were lead counsel representing a client and his family injured in an automobile accident and who was rendered a quadriplegic; that case yielded a $10 Million settlement with multiple parties.
