ABOUT Tyler S. Thompson

Tyler S. Thompson has successfully represented injured clients throughout the state of Kentucky and has obtained multiple million-dollar verdicts, including two jury verdicts in excess of twenty million dollars. Mr. Thompson is a past President of the Kentucky Academy of Trial Attorneys, a state trial lawyer association with more than 1,400 members. In 2003, Mr. Thompson became the youngest recipient of the prestigious "Peter Perlman Outstanding Trial Lawyer" award, given annually to an attorney in Kentucky who has demonstrated excellence in the courtroom.

In 2007, Mr. Thompson became a member of the Inner Circle of Advocates, a trial lawyer organization by invitation-only, limited to only 100 lawyers in the United States. He is also a member of the International Academy of Trial Attorneys, invitation-only, limited to 500 lawyers in the world and a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an invitation-only trial lawyer organization comprising of plaintiff and defense counsel and representing less than one (1) percent of the attorneys practicing in the United States. Mr. Thompson is listed in Best Lawyers in America, was recently selected by his peers as one of the Top 10 Attorneys in Kentucky (Super Lawyer Magazine) and has received an AV rating, the highest rating an attorney can receive from Martindale-Hubbell.

His considerable civic involvement includes serving as a trustee of Berea College and as a director of the Kentucky Family Safety Foundation.
