Vasil L. Kirifides is a founding member of Schmidt, Kirifides & Fridkin. Since 1990, Vasil has been working to ensure that Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation claimants receive all that they are owed under the law. In 2005, Vasil secured two of the largest workmen's compensation settlements reached in Pennsylvania during the last decade. Combined, the settlements totaled nearly $1.2 million.
Vasil is a member of the Delaware County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
A 1990 graduate of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Mich., Vasil grew up in Wilmington, Del. He attended Wilmington's Brandywine High School before earning a bachelor of arts degree from St. Joseph's University, Philadelphia, Pa., in 1985.
In addition to being a dedicated attorney, Vasil is an avid outdoorsman. He speaks fluent Greek and is a former member of the Parish Council of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Wilmington, Delaware. Vasil resides in West Chester, Pa.
