John Thompson is a New York City attorney in private practice providing bespoke legal services to individuals, entrepreneurs, and small businesses. His extensive trial and litigation practice focuses on Criminal Defense, Civil Litigation, Divorce, Personal Injury, Immigration, Real Estate Transactions, and Employment Law.
With over 25 years of experience in government, non-profit and corporate positions John has served in many positions, including Press Secretary in the Bloomberg and Giuliani Administrations, Vice President of Institutional Equities, for Tejas Securities and as a Vice President for Public Relations at Hill & Knowlton.

John received his B.A. from Columbia University and his J.D. from Fordham Law School. He is a member of the New York County Lawyers Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and the New York City Bar Association where he serves on the Criminal Law Committee. He makes his home in NYC.
