Wawi Tijerina

Wawi Tijerina is a seasoned attorney with over 35 years of experience handling civil and criminal litigation in Laredo, including wrongful death, slip and fall, and car accident cases. A Laredo native, she earned her law degree from Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law and has served as a Municipal Court Judge, County Commissioner, and Criminal Justice Professor. Beyond her legal career, Wawi is dedicated to community service, having served on numerous advisory boards and as the founder of the Webb County Women’s Bar Association. She remains committed to advocating for her clients and improving the Laredo community.
