Wayne G. Edwards is a Partner in the firm and concentrates his practice in the areas of zoning and land use planning, real estate law and transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing and financing and related corporate transactions. His practice includes representation of many of the region’s most prominent real estate owners and developers. In his practice, Mr. Edwards represents developers in both acquiring property for development and in obtaining the municipal approvals necessary to construct their projects. He is also Counsel to New York State Senator Michael Venditto.
In 2013, 2015 and 2016, Mr. Edwards was selected to the New York Metro Super Lawyers list. He was recognized in the practice area of Land Use/Zoning. In 2016, he received the Long Island Business News Leadership in Law award in the category of Partner.
He is a member of the Nassau County and the New York State Bar Associations.
Mr. Edwards is admitted to practice in the State of New York and before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
He received his Bachelor of Arts from Long Island University (B.A., 1974) and his Juris Doctor degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law (J.D., 1977).
