Wendy is the managing attorney of the firm's King of Prussia office. She was the firm's first female shareholder and is a member of the Health Care Liability Practice Group, concentrating her practice on the defense of medical malpractice actions.
Wendy graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, in 1977. Following graduation, she worked as a legal assistant at Ballard, Spahr, Andrews & Ingersoll. In 1980, Wendy was hired by Robert J. Coleman, Esquire, and began working as a law clerk at Marshall Dennehey while attending law school at Villanova University School of Law. In 1981, she received her juris doctor. Wendy then clerked for the Honorable Anthony J. Scirica, who was then a judge in the Court of Common Pleas, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, and who is now a Senior Judge in the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
In 1982, following her clerkship, Wendy returned to Marshall Dennehey as a member of the asbestos litigation team. Thereafter, she worked in the firm's Appellate Advocacy and Post-Trial Practice Group. She then became involved in the preparation of product liability, professional liability, medical malpractice and general liability cases for trial. From 1991 to 2004, Wendy worked part-time, while her children were young. Since returning to work full time, Wendy has concentrated her practice in health care liability. In 2006, she became the managing attorney of the King of Prussia office. In 2009, she became a member of the firm's Board of Directors. She has served on the firm's Associate Review, Human Relations and 401(k) committees. In 2012, she coordinated the activities for the celebration of the firm's 50th anniversary. Twice a year, Wendy participates in the firm's Attorney Orientation Program with a presentation on the firm's history and culture.
In 2019, Wendy was selected to join the International Association of Defense Counsel, an invitation-only organization of 2,500 peer-reviewed inside and outside counsel, and insurance industry executives representing companies across the world.
