More than 30 years' experience working with businesses
After receiving his Juris Doctorate at the University of Chicago, William L. Fillmore began his legal career in Denver, Colorado with the regional law firm of Holland & Hart. He later practiced in Colorado Springs, and then in Logan, Utah with Olson & Hoggan. He stepped out of private practice in 1986 to serve as Associate General Counsel for Brigham Young University.
In 1991, Bill opened the Utah County office for the Salt Lake City law firm of Van Cott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy, serving as managing attorney for three years before forming his own firm in Provo in 1994, now known as Fillmore Spencer LLC.
Bill has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Provo-Orem Chamber of Commerce, as a member of the Brigham Young University Alumni Association Board of Trustees, as a board member of the Academy Square Foundation and as National President of the BYU Cougar Club. He currently serves as pro bono legal counsel for America's Freedom Festival at Provo, and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Timpanogos Regional Hospital.

Bill engages in a general corporate and business practice and handles purchase, sale and merger matters, debt and equity financing transactions, technology licensing, and commercial real estate matters.
