ABOUT Yesmin Diaz

Yesmin Diaz, Esq. (associate) concentrates her practice on Personal Injury Litigation. Ms. Diaz was born in the Dominican Republic and immigrated to the United States as a child. Ms. Diaz is a fierce advocate for her clients and will go the extra mile to see that her clients receive justice.

Ms. Diaz graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies, with minors in English and Sociology; she graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Cum Laude, with a Juris Doctorate. While at Law School, She was an associate editor at the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review and Research Assistant to Professor Jason Eyster.

Ms. Diaz has five solid years of civil litigation experience. Before joining our office, Ms. Diaz was an associate at the firm O’Donnell McCord, P.C. concentrating on prosecution and defense of municipal tax appeals; thereafter an associate at the firm Bastarrika, Soto, Gonzalez and Somohano, LLP, where she litigated various commercial contract disputes, personal injury, real estate and municipal court traffic/criminal defense.

On her spare time, Ms. Diaz enjoys serving her community: through the Hispanic Bar Association, she serves as a mentor to at-risk Passaic high school students; and she regularly volunteers her time in soup kitchens, food pantries, and immigration advocacy events.
