The 2020 year has proven to be a difficult one for many. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, some families have been or are at risk of being displaced from their homes, hundreds of thousands of people are out of work, and many are struggling to recover from the physical and psychological impact the pandemic has had on them. Needless to say, there are plenty of people in Central New York who are in need of help this holiday season.
While the holidays generally serve as a time for all to get together with family and friends, and spread love and joy, there are many New Yorkers who don’t have that luxury. Instead, there are thousands of underprivileged people in Central New York who are suffering from hunger and homelessness. In an effort to help those in need, NY personal injury attorney Joe Stanley and his partners are working to raise as much as they can to give back to their fellow community members who are less fortunate this holiday season.
When Rochester, NY attorney Joe Stanley with Stanley Law isn’t representing clients who were injured by the negligence of others in car crashes or workplace incidents, he is dedicating his time to his non-profit organization, Music for the Mission.
What is Music for the Mission?
Attorney Joe Stanley founded Music for the Mission back in 2009 and has since raised money for thousands of individuals in his community who struggle from hunger and/or homelessness. Music for a Mission organizes musical events and donates any money collected to other organizations that follow Mr. Stanley’s same mission—help those who are hungry or homeless. Music for the Mission is currently raising funds with the help of CNY Musicians who have rallied together to record “Do They Know It’s Christmas Time.”
Although the organization is open to accept any donation amount, they are asking individuals and fellow community members to donate $1 which can help feed three people. For those who are interested in helping “heal” Central New York and give back to those in need this holiday season, visit Music for the Mission’s website to find out how.
As always, Rochester, NY personal injury attorney Joe Stanley is also available to provide those who have been injured in an accident or contracted COVID-19 from their place of employment with the legal representation they need.
