While many investors and real-estate developers have had to take a step back from the recent projects they emerged themselves in as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, first-time real-estate developer Guiseppe Iadisernia is moving forward with his $370 million project that is expected to be built in Hallandale Beach, Florida. The Miami Herald recently reported that Iadisernia broke ground in May on the 10-acre piece of land he is using for Oasis Hallandale, which is located just minutes away from Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino.
Oasis Hallandale is expected to consist of five commercial buildings that will include 59,219 square feet dedicated to retail and restaurant space, 34,691 square feet to be used as office space, and 1,486 square feet for parking spaces. The project is also expected to include two 25-story condominiums, with each tower containing 250 units. The units will range from a one-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath unit to a three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath condo. The square footage will range from 891 square feet to 1,843 square feet.
The news source says the units will likely start at $427,000 and include the following amenities: an indoor and outdoor movie theatre, gym, ping-pong room, pool, and 24-hour lobby attendants. While the condominiums won’t be on the water, they will offer ocean views. The project, which has been designed by architect Bernardo Fort-Brescia, is scheduled to be completed by 2025.
Iadisernia told the Miami Herald in an email that “the early stages of construction were able to continue on as they did not interfere with any government recommendations.” He added, “We think it’s important to keep the momentum going for our community. Our in-house sales team has discovered they could be very successful via digital platforms.”
